چکیده
Background: Segregation of Escherichia coli (E. coli) into the phylogenetic groups was observed in experiments so that group B2 contained enteropathogenic E. (EPEC) strains and extraintestinal pathogenic (ExPEC). Objectives: This study aimed to identify extended-spectrum Cephalosporins resistant isolated from stool healthy children under 10 years old. Methods: One hundred broad-spectrum were collected feces 10. Subsequently, we grouped via PCR based on genes yjaA, chuA, arpA, as well, TspE4.C2. Then, according Clermont et al.’s study, used two individual multiplex PCRs for identifying sub-groups (I-X subgroups). Serogroup typing with 12 O-antigen analyzed PCR, finally, virulence (cnf1, papG, ibeA, malX, usp, cdt, eae, bfp, afa-Dr) identified PCR. Results: The age range between 1 years. unknown phylogroups most common this study. subgroups I (2%), IX (1%), V (8%), IV, V, VII IX, (3%), III, VII, (%1), (6%), each subgroup carrying distinctive sets ExPEC markers. results also showed 29% had malX 23% papGII. It found 32% antigens O2 36% unknown. Conclusions: In 27% belonged phylogroup 6% B1 phylogroup. Moreover, serogroups O2, O16, O25 predominant papGII, papGIII, aggR, eae highest lowest supply among tested strains, respectively. isolates shown have further virulence-related comparison non isolates.

Phylogenetic analysis of Escherichia coli strains isolated from human samples
Escherichia coli (E. coli) is a normal inhabitant of the gastrointestinal tract of vertebrates, including humans. Phylogenetic analysis has shown that E. coli is composed of four main phylogenetic groups (A, B1, B2 and D). Group A and B1 are generally associated with commensals, whereas group B2 is associated with extra-intestinal pathotypes. Most enteropathogenic isolates, however, are assigne...

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives: Diarrheagenic Escherichia coli (DEC) pathotypes are important causes of diarrhea among children in developing countries. The objective of this study was to determine the frequency and antibiotic resistance pattern of DEC pathotypes in children aged less than 10 years. &nbs...
متن کاملPhylogenetic typing and molecular detection of virulence factors of avian pathogenic Escherichia coli isolated from colibacillosis cases in Japanese quail
Colibacillosis caused by avian pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) is an economic threat to the poultry industry throughout the world. Some of the virulence genes may enhance the ability of E. coli isolates to grow in the tissues of broilers. The APEC strains are assigned to a few distinct phylogenetic groups. The purpose of the present study was to detect the virulence genes a...
متن کاملIdentification of extended-spectrum β-lactamase genes in Escherichia coli isolated from patients with urinary tract infection
Introduction: Recentlly, resistance to antibiotics has increased and antibiotic-resistant strains producing extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs) have emerged among Enterobacteriaceae, mainly in Escherichia coli (E. coli). In this study we aimed to determine phenotypic and genotypic ESBL production in isolated E. coli from women with urinary tract infection (UTI). Materials and Methods: In...

This study was conducted to reveal the phylogenetic background, to detect the genes encoding TEM, SHV and CTX-M-15 extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBL), and to analyze their distribution in phylo-groups of 150 Escherichia coli isolates from broiler chickens in Ahvaz (Southwest of Iran). Seventy- five cloacal swabs from healthy birds (fecal isolates), and 75 heart blood samples from bi...
